Fan Girl Friday

Whew! This week has FLOWN by! I can’t believe its Friday already! I’m not complaining, mind you. I’m super excited its FINALLY the weekend. And not just because me and Huff the Hubs will be trying the Pumpkin Spice Molten Cake tonight at date night. I’m also super excited because I have TONS of awesome things to share on today’s FGF! Let’s do this!

MERLIN’S PANTS, I am so excited! The USPS is releasing limited edition Harry Potter stamps! *Geek squee*! They go on sale next week! check out some of the layouts:

Owl Post is going to be real!

Say "Avada Kedavra" to lame stamps!

You can actually pre-order these geeky goodies before they hit the post office next week!

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I actually FINALLY started mine today! (I’m super disappointed in myself; i’m usually done by now!) If you’ve got someone on your list that just can’t stop thinking about scientific theories and also suffers from ILF Syndrome (Ice-Like Feet) get these from Mod Cloth for the geekling on your list!

Feet + These = Smart Socks Squared!

Please tell me I am not the only adult who still watches cartoons. I’m not? Sah-weet! HtH and I love Adventure Time! As Finn would say, “Its so math!” I would totally sport this tee from Think Geek…I may have to add it to my wish list! If I don’t get it, I may have to go all LSP on some lumpy posers!

"Oh my glob!"

“Oh my glob!”

OMG, you may want to sit down for this one, you guys. Are you sitting? Good. The superb stage producers at Disney are working on a theater show for–drumroll please–The Princess Bride!

Death cannot stop true love.

Death cannot stop true love.

Inconceivable you say? No, says Thomas Schumacher, President and Producer of Disney Theatrical Productions. “The Princess Bride has proven to be an enduring delight and a beloved favorite to multiple generations,” said  Schumacher, “What William Goldman created is first and foremost a celebration of storytelling; what better place to spin that tale than on the stage?”

I am so excited! If they come to OKC, I MUST see it. I want to see how they portray the ROUS’s… maybe they’ll use one of these…?
