This has been a KA-RAZEE week! I’m soooo glad its nearly done!
Even though I’ve been insanely busy, I found the time to round up some squee-worthy finds for boys and girls of every fandom!
If you’re like Huff the Hubs, then you are REALLY going to enjoy this first item. This month marks the 30th anniversary of the Ghostbusters movie! I can’t believe its been 30 years! Movie theaters all around the nation are playing the flick for a limited time, so if you were too young to enjoy it on the silver screen when it first came out, good news! Plus, we’re seeing a plethora of memorabilia featuring our favorite poltergeist-fighting team! Like these a-dork-able vinyl figurines from Quantum Mechanix!
My little Hermione (or, as one friend referred to her: Huff the Babes) turned one this week! Can you believe it?! Seems like only yesterday I was complaining about false labor pains! I’ve already done her birthday shopping for her party tomorrow, but I think I may need to get these as an extra gift:
These aren’t your typical “A is apple” flash cards. These cards buck the norm and have hilarious cards like, “F is for fart” and “B is for booger”. Kids are gonna learn this stuff anyway, right?
If you’d rather keep it clean, but still have a geeky-good time, grab a deck of these Princess Bride cards from The Albino Dragon!
There are three exclusive sets to choose from, too!
You guys, I’ve got some awesome TV news about some of our favorite shows!
If you’re like me and totally waiting on pins and needles and for the season premiere of Once Upon A Time to see Elsa and Anna in action, then get ready to squeal with delight! This week the producers over at OUAT threw us a bone with an exclusive look at the girls in action! Watch:
AHHHH!!! September 28th cannot get here fast enough!
How excited were you when Sherlock won THREE Emmy’s last week?! Wasn’t that awesome?! I was so proud of my favorite boys across the pond! My glee was short-lived, however, after I read a recent interview with Steven Moffat. When asked about the new season of the show, here’s what Steven had to say: “We have a plan to top it [season three]. And I do think our plan is devastating. We’ve practically reduced our cast to tears telling them the plan … we’re probably more excited that we’ve ever been about Sherlock.”
WHAT?! What does this mean?! Is our favorite sleuth going to be really dead this time? Is Watson? Will Molly’s sweater collection burn in a terrible fire? The suspense is killing me!
