Y’all, I LOVE Italian food. If I could only eat one cuisine of food for the rest of my life, it would be Italian; pasta, marinara, bread…le sigh. That’s my jam.
When I saw an easier version of one of my fave Italian dishes—lasagna—I was stoked! I had to try it!
Here’s what you need:
Ricotta cheese
~Mozzarella cheese
~Your preferred spaghetti sauce (I lurves Prego)
~Ground Italian sausage or ground turkey (not pictured)
~Wonton wrappers
Preheat oven to 375*. If you haven’t already, brown the sausage or turkey (whichever you decided to use) and mix with your spaghetti sauce (I tend to brown my ground turkey as soon as I bring it home from the grocery store and then freeze it. So it cut my prep time down dramatically!).
Then, lightly spray a muffin/cupcake pan with non-stick spray. Place one wonton wrapper in each muffin space in your tin.
Add a tablespoon of ricotta cheese in each wonton wrapper.
Dollop a tablespoon of sauce on top of the ricotta and sprinkle mozzarella on top.
Pop them in the oven for 10-12 minutes and allow them to cool. Then, serve!
These tiny lasagnas were DELISH! They were super yummy and SUPER easy! I honestly think that next time I have to bring something to a potluck, I’m bringing these. It took me less than 10 minutes to prep and then cooked in 10-12 minutes! It. Was. Awesome.
