The other day I was reading about the health benefits of pomegranate seeds. It was then that I realized I had never tried pomegranate before! True, I’ve had pomegranate-flavored stuff (mostly candy-ha!) but never true pomegranate seeds. I decided to rectify this and went to the grocery store and bought one!
I won’t lie, I was a little nervous. But, the health benefits kept playing over in my head and I decided to just dive in! I wasn’t sure what to expect so when I sliced it open, Huff the Hubs laughed at my gasp:
After watching a YouTube video (yes, I had to do that) I learned an easy way to separate the seeds from the rind– just add water! It worked great!
Y’all, these were SO good! This is definitely my new, go-to healthy snack!
