For a while now, every time I go the grocery store I see a weird-looking fruit and *almost* buy it, but end up walking on past it because I was too scared to try it out. Saturday, I finally decided to just bite the bullet–er, I mean dragonfruit!
I read a little about this strange fruit and saw that its packed full of fiber, Vitamin C, and antioxidants! I sliced it up and gave it a try!
The texture reminded me of a kiwi, but it really didn’t have much of a flavor. So I guess I like it…? It might be good in a smoothie with fruits with more strong flavors since its fairly bland but packs a nutritious punch!
