Happy Friday, all! Am I the only one that woke up suddenly on Wednesday morning and thought, “HOLY CRAP, FATHER’S DAY IS THIS SUNDAY?!”

Have no fear! I’ve got a list of awesome gifts you can snag for your dad, grandpa, or hubs!

Is your dad a handy guy but never seems to have a pen? Check out these awesome writing tools (see what I did there?) from Think Geek!

Writing Tools

This 4-pack of pens shaped like a crowbar, saw, pliers, and boxcutter are great for the DIY dad!

Sometimes its hard for a guy to find a lunchbox that fits his needs as well as looks cool. Perpetual Kid has JUST the thing!

This toolbox-inspired cooler holds a 12-pack of Dad’s favorite beverage and keeps them cold for HOURS! Your pops can spend a day out on the lake fishing without ever having to go back to shore! #DadWin

Is your dad the type who touts Ron Swanson as his spirit animal? If so, he needs a pair of these:

I actually might get a pair to flash at those pesky, incessant kiosk workers at the mall!

Got a geek dad that also likes to build–maybe an AT-AT playhouse for the kiddos? He’ll need an awesome tape measure to get that walker built!

Exclusively from Think Geek, this R2D2 tape measure cannot be found at your local Home Depot! Snag one while you can!

Happy Fangirling and Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Friday Star Wars Release Day, y’all! I am so stinking excited to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens I can barely stand it! Sadly, I couldn’t get tickets until Monday evening, so I’m thinking I’ll be on a “social media blackout” until then. I’ve had waaay too many things spoiled just by scrolling through my newsfeed. I’ve learned my lesson.

Today is not only momentous because Jedis and Storm Troopers are back in the cinemas, but also because it’s exactly ONE week until Christmas! If you’re still trying to get those last-minute/hard-to-buy-for gifts knocked off your To Do list, I can help!

For the “silly walker” in your life, look no further than the Monty Python’s Quest for the Holy Grail 40th Anniversary Edition!

Monty Python 40th Anniversary Edition

This awesome set comes packed with bonus features, behind-the-scenes looks, and cast interviews all packed into a castle box complete with animals you can toss over the walls! Who wouldn’t love that?!

For the Trekker Mom-To-Be on your list, keep it logical with this Vulcan on Board maternity tee from Think Geek!

Live long and prosper, Momma.

For the one who treats their life like a musical, grab this sparkly necklace from Perpetual Kid!

Wizard of Oz Necklace

Just don’t be offended if they try to click the heels on the charms to go home in the middle of your Christmas party.

For the overworked/sarcastic mother in your life (which, let’s face it, is basically every mom!), let them don this little beauty so everyone can see their hilarious snark:

I childproofed my house necklace

Pretty sure my mom probably said this a few times when my sisters and I were little, ha!

Have you finished your shopping yet? Better hurry!

Try It Tuesday

Happy Tuesday, peeps! Christmas is exactly ONE month away and I’ve got an excellent–and inexpensive–gift idea!

Gardeners-Hand-Scrub-10

I’ve seen this on Pinterest so many times, but I haven’t tried it. Well, today, its happening!

Here’s what you need:

~Sugar

~An empty jar

~Dawn Hand Renewal Dish Soap®

First, pour sugar into the empty jar until it’s about 3/4 full.

Then, add the soap until its to the bottom of the mouth of the jar.

Stir it up, continually adding sugar until you get a paste-like consistency. You don’t want it to be too runny or else it won’t work as well. Then, voila! you’re done!

I LOVED how my hands smelled (and felt) after using this! This would be a great gift for someone that works out in the garden or even for that man in your life that seems to always have greasy, grimy hands! I want to use it on my feet for an at-home pedicure!

This is definitely a more cost-effective solution to some other scrubs I’ve seen. This entire supply of sugar scrub only cost me $3.28! That’s $13.28 cheaper than Bath and Body Works!
