Its Hump Day, folks! What better way to get out of the mid-week slump than with an awesome Try It? (Totally supposed to be yesterday’s post, but I’ve got Mommy-Brain and forgot).
Anyway, I saw this on Pinterest and thought it would be a great way to still be able to snack but also be able to eat healthy:
This recipe is super simple. I mean, its so easy, Hermione could probably do it! Okay, maybe not that easy, but still, not that difficult.
All you need is:
2 zucchini, thinly sliced long-ways
2 egg whites
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
First, I washed and sliced my zucchini:
That’s just ONE zucchini.
Then, I dipped them in the egg whites and sprinkled them with parmesan cheese:
I baked them for about 30 minutes and let them cool.
After they were cool enough to touch without burning my fingers off, I tried them.
Umm… yeeeahhh…I think I may have sliced them too thin. Or baked them too long. But, whatever the case may have been they looked like this:
If I try to make these again, I’ll DEFINITELY have to make some adjustments. Has anyone else ever tried these before? What did you think?
