Besides good looks and an amazing sense of humor, tummy problems run in my family. I’m always looking for foods and/or products that are good for my gut, so I can try them and share them with the whole Fam Damily. Enter today’s Try It!

The name of the product may look a little familiar; I’ve tried a Good Belly drink before. This one is a little bit different, and no just because of its size! This little liquid packs a punch! Inside are tons of little probiotics and vitamins! This small shot has your daily recommended amounts of: Vitamin C, Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, and Biotin! Not only that but its got Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Calcium, and Thiamin!

At 50 calories, the Plus Shot has you covered without being a calorie hog and its tasty, too! That’s something to smile about!

Hey y’all! Sorry I was MIA last week—the fam and I trekked up to South Dakota to visit Mount Rushmore! I don’t know about y’all, but when I travel I don’t always make the best food choices, especially when it’s a road trip. Isn’t part of the fun of a road trip the stops for snacks (uh, hello Sour Patch Kids and Nutter Butters!) and tasty treats you can only find in Small Town, America? This time, however, I thought ahead!

This 12-ounce bottle is packed with good-for-your-tummy cultures, only 20 calories, and a mere 5 grams of sugar (all from fruit; aka, no added sugars)! I was a little worried I wouldn’t like the taste of it–I’m kind of a drink snob. But this was actually pretty dang good! I could really taste the basil in there but it wasn’t too overpowering. It was light and had a slight fizz and the orange/pineapple mixture gave it a real summertime feel! Plus, I did something great for my gut! Good Belly has a lot of probiotic-filled products, all geared to help your digestive system!I snagged this at Walmart Grocery Store, next to the kefir I wrote about a few weeks ago!

Hey y’all! Sorry I was MIA last week. It was the last week of school at the Mother’s Day Out I where I work and it was IN-FREAKING-SANE. It was pretty much like there was a full moon, on the day before Christmas break, and it was every child’s birthday.

But now that we’re out of school, I’m officially on summer mode and I’m back to blogging, yo! And today I’ve got two tasty Try Its to help you stay satisfied and feeling good this summer!

 

I’ve been looking for something to have for dessert that isn’t ridiculously full of calories or bad-for-me stuff. I love Greek yogurt and so when I saw these at Walmart, I had to try them!

 

These little Greek yogurt bars (dipped in dark chocolate–swoon!) are only 140 calories, have 8 grams of protein, and are FULL of probiotics (i.e., they’re good for your gut)!

 

First, I tried the vanilla one:

It was pretty good! Its vanilla, so, it was a little plain. And you could really taste the “Greek yogurt tanginess” but it wasn’t bad!

 

Next, I tried the blueberry one:

BRUH. So. Flipping. Good. I devoured this one! It was delicious! I also tried the strawberry one and it was very tasty!

These bars actually come six different flavors, but there isn’t a store near me that sells the espresso, hazelnut, or honey flavors–whomp, whomp.

I don’t know what mornings are like at y’all’s houses, but at the Huffman Homestead things can go from 0-crazy in a matter of seconds. First I tried the double chocolate one. All I had to do was pour in 1/4 cup water, mix, and microwave!

I really liked the chocolate one! I ate it along with some egg whites and I was surprised at how full it kept me! I normally have to eat a snack in between breakfast and lunch but I didn’t have to this day because I was pretty satiated!
The next day I tried the s’mores one:

It wasn’t as good as the chocolate one. All of the yummy bits fell to the bottom so the muffin was pretty bland until you reached the sugar overload.
These muffins come in ten flavors, including: Lemon Poppyseed, Blueberry, Cinnamon Roll, Tart Cherry Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter, Maple Pumpkin, and Cinnamon Apple!
