khsn_stranger_figs_grid

I seriously just want to snuggle the crap out of that cute Dustin figure! Squeee!

Last week, I featured all things Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I can’t believe I left out this awesome Rey dress from Hot Topic!

Cute as a cosplay or just for meeting your friends for an evening at Toshi Station!

I don’t really carry purses because I basically pack everything I own whenever I go places because, kids. BUT, if I did carry one, it would most definitely be this Flounder cross-body bag!

Room for your keys, wallet, and travel dinglehopper!

And, while we’re semi on the subject of Disney, check out these beautiful Disney princess-inspired wedding dresses from the House of Mouse and designer Kuraudia Co.!

disney-princess-dresses-970

According to the designer’s site, the “…fourteen designs featuring six princesses include Belle from “Beauty and the Beast,” Ariel from “The Little Mermaid,” “Snow White,” Rapunzel from “Tangled,” Aurora from “Sleeping Beauty” and, of course, “Cinderella”. To ensure these fairy-tale weddings have a happy ending, a selection of tuxedos inspired by six Disney movies are also available for the ‘princes’…” The best part? These dresses are actually licensed through Disney! Oh yes, that means these are LEGIT princess dresses! Click here to see more!

Happy Friday, Doctor Who Eve!

That’s right, the moment we Whovians have been waiting MONTHS for is FINALLY here!

Tomorrow night we will be able to see the first episode with new Doctor, Peter Capaldi! I know some of us are sad to Matt Smith go (though, admittedly, I was more broken-hearted about the loss of David Tennant) its going to be really great to see a new incarnation of The Doctor!

And, I have everything you need to make your weekend fit for a Whovian!

Soak up the sun with this 4th Doctor-inspired towel from Think Geek! And, even better? It’s on sale! Woo!

Keep calm and carry a towel.

If you’re of age and want to give the premiere of Doctor Who a little Mad Men flair, try this Tardis-tini!

Cheers! Or should I say, "Allonsy!"?

*Bonus Fan Girl Friday find:

I know that its not Who-themed, BUT, this week everyone’s favorite fanboy director gave us a charge to donate to Force for a Change/UNICEF, as well as a sneak peek at one of the new X-Wing’s (even though the wings no longer make an X) from the set of Star Wars: Episode VII! Check it out!

Go donate, people! You could be helping make someone else’s life better AND possibly be able to visit the set! That’s every fangirl/fanboy’s DREAM!

Iiiiiiittttssssss Friday!

And I have scoured the globe (and by globe, I mean internet) and collected the most interesting and intriguing dorky delights to start your weekend off with a bang!

The Lego Movie comes out on DVD Tuesday, June 17th! After you head to the store to pick up your copy, pack a lunch in this bad boy and have a movie picnic date with your sweetie!

"Every lunch is awesome!"

“Every lunch is awesome!”

I don’t know about you, but I am seriously jonesing for some Walking Dead. I’m super sad that we have to wait almost 4 months for it to come back on! And I’m a little terrified that some of my favorite characters may get the Game of Thrones treatment this season. I think I might send a picture of me drinking out of this mug to the producers, just to let them know I mean business.

Seriously.

Speaking of GoT, George R. R. Martin has an interesting proposal for you. He is currently raising money for two of his favorite charities, The Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary and The Food Depot, and has made it enticing for YOU to help out!

"Donate or Tyrion gets it."

“Donate or Tyrion gets it.”

If you donate, you are entered to win a bevvy of prizes! Including a helicopter ride with the author at the wolf sanctuary! Give what you can–every bit helps!

A few months ago, Huff the Hubs and I were talking about what else–Legos–and discussing how excited we were for Hermione to be old enough to play with them. Then I said, “I wish I could work on the development team….They should make a famous female scientist set of Legos.” So while I was perusing Pinterest the other day, guess what I found? THAT’S RIGHT! My idea! Well, sort of.

"Science girls are awesome!"

“Science girls are awesome!”

Lego will be releasing three different sets of female scientists–an astronomer, a paleontologist, and a chemist–this August! I am so. freaking. excited.

And finally, hungry for more Star Wars: Episode VII news? JJ Abrams, that sneaky little sneak, has been posting set pictures on his Twitter account, debunking rumors about a certain ship.

"You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon?"

“You’ve never heard of the Millennium Falcon?”

I ain’t buying it, JJ.

In a Movie Theater Far, Far Away…

*Cue the fangirl/fanboy squeals*

The cast has FINALLY been announced for J.J. Abram’s newest installment of the Star Wars saga!

And here they are:

1398790698000-star-wars-episode-7-cast-announce

Look! Even R2D2 is there!

Can’t tell who everyone is? No problem; I’m here to help!

The the original cast members (or as I like to call them: The Jedi Trinity) are BACK! That’s right, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher have all signed on to reprise their roles from the original (and, in this blogger’s opinion, the BEST) 1970’s films! But who are the rest of these young whippersnappers? Glad you asked!

Domhnall Gleeson

Neither Dementor nor Storm Trooper scare me.

Neither Dementor nor Storm Trooper scare me.

Dom, AKA Bill Weasley, will be turning in his wand for a lightsaber come December 2015! IMDB doesn’t list his character’s name, but my guess is he is either the spawn of Han and Leia or one of Luke’s littles.

Adam Driver

Look out Girls!

Look out Girls!

Best known for his role on HBO’s Girls and Inside Llewyn Davis, its unclear who Driver will be playing as well. Although, he really reminds me of a younger, less crazy-eyed Peter Mayhew. Maybe he’s one of Chewbacca’s pups…?

Oscar Isaac

MV5BMTQ2ODE2NDQ5OF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwOTU3OTM1OQ@@__V1_SY317_CR5,0,214,317_AL_

Another Llewyn Davis alum, Isaac hasn’t been in too many projects. I’m hoping this is a good thing. Although Hayden Christensen was a relative unknown when he was in Star Wars and we all know how THAT turned out…

Daisy Ridley

MV5BNTI0NTA4Njg1Nl5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwMTA5Mzc2MTE@__V1_SY317_CR69,0,214,317_AL_

This cute-as-a-button brunette is just about as adorable as her name. But, I feel as though there’s some fierceness behind those baby brown’s. Maybe she’s a little Leia…? Ridley has only has about 6 or 7 acting projects under her belt, but something tells me that Star Wars is going to catapult her to stardom.

What do you think about the casting choices? Like them? Don’t like them? Have any guesses as to who they might be playing? Honestly, I think the actors could stink and this movie would still be awesome. Mostly because J.J. Abram’s is driving this Falcon and that guy knows his way around a galaxy! No disrespect to George Lucas, but I’m still a little bitter about the whole “remastering” thing…and I don’t think I’m alone in this:
